So today is the second day of our group training, well, as one of the counsellors for the campers, I think there are quite a lot of important where we have to take note, hmm I'm still trying my best. Just wondering how is the real situation is gonna be like, especially facing those kids! anyway, we had various types of traditional chinese food here in Taiwan this morning, and then the international type of lunch and the usual bento for our dinner. Had a good time discussing our job in the high tea hour, and met the other two EPs from Czech. And for the night time, we had rehearsal for the placement test and the station games.

The second training session started today! We, the local and the foreign counsellors, were all being separated into diff groups (campsites and duties). I am in the general counsellor group for the first and second week and daily care group for the third and forth week in Vanung Leadership Camp, which is kinda disappointing tho, I was expecting for getting the campsite at the other states of Taiwan. We were then separated to have our training session in the aircraft stimulator classroom, which was really cool! And had our lunch and dinner in the classroom of the university. Kinda fun tho.

Another one day trip with all of them (those who've went out with us yesterday), we just went to the nearby town to walk around, and did some shopping too. Bought a few products in Watson, visited the bookstore there, which is like really big, had their bubble milk tea again, and tried my favorite 卤肉饭, so yummy. Went to the shopping nearby the uni later on, I bought two pairs of Birkenstock there, it's really cheap here, and I couldn't refund the tax cos it has to be done 30 days before traveling back, I got it too early I guess. And had a little fun with the EPs at the SEGA arcade there, my team won the game! Stopped by at the nearby noodle shop to have our dinner before heading back to our uni.

An one day trip with all the EPs, and a few Taiwanese friends we made in the camp. Visited 西门町, yup, the shopping heaven, then Taipei 101, the super tall tower, did a little shopping in there too, then headed to the RaoHe street night market, had many good food! That pretty much summed up our one day trip!

It was the last day of our training session, we did the cooking fun when we were back to PENTA, and visited the kindergarten nearby, the kids there were really cheeky and cute, and we learnt to make a few really cute desserts here (chocolate flower pot and mochi), we then had that and the sukiyaki hot pot for our lunch, then it was the time for our talent show!!! My team, A-team did the Macarena dance and also the chicken dance! And it was the time to end the 3 days training camp. Headed to the Vanung University, the place where all the EPs will be staying. And gosh, the dorms of the university students, when the time I saw it, I was like, FCUK my uni or wherever, I'm staying here! Every dorms is well furnished and equipped with water heater, a TV, and the air condition.

overnighted at the cabin, went for another training session, kayaking and building a raft on our own. had a very good time kayaking but not the building part, cos I was doing most of the jobs I think, tying the knots, pedaling the raft and giving the order or something like that, it was a very exhausting moment, then we had a few games, then headed back for a shower and it was time for the BBQ night! We were all then blindfolded and brought to a hidden forest, and there was where we had our campfire!! Played a few games and introduced a few special stuffs in our countries. Ended the night with sparkles! 

23/6/2014 in Taiwan

checked out the hostel with the rest of the EPs, took the MRT to the PENTA HQ, met the rest of the counsellors, mostly Taiwanese. Had our ice breaking and stuff, then headed to have a training session of paintball and wall climbing, what a tiring day. We then headed to the Fu Long campsite, there was where we're gonna stay for the next two days. Oh yeah, had the 火车头便当 for the first time.
