Seoul Winter Trip - Day1

Hello readers, I am back to blog about my trip to Seoul, South Korea!
We visited this beautiful country in the end of February,
Here are our flight details, booked it around a year ago.
It was around RM 500-600 round trip per person (very very cheap I suppose?), and we traveled in four (which I believe its the best for traveling).

Kuala Lumpur (KUL) – Seoul (ICN) Sat, Feb 20 2016 08:00
Seoul (ICN) - Kuala Lumpur (KUL) Sat, Feb 27 2016 09:35

We had only 6 full days and another half day spent in Seoul after subtracting the traveling time, it took us nearly 6 hours to land in Icheon from KL and another 7 hours back from Icheon.
It was really exciting as my friends and I traveled together for the first time, and it was also our very first time experiencing winter season (which is also known as the coldest season of the year, ok I should cut the crap).
Since it was Winter, so we had to prepare some winter clothing for this trip. If you were to travel on Winter and you have no idea where to get your winter clothing, don’t worry, lots of sales will be going on during that period, (especially from Cosas United).
I have got my outerwear from Teranova, which has similar quality with those from Zara but slightly cheaper in price. Winter boots from Zalora, around RM 150, with really good quality. And long john was not necessarily for me (I kinda like cold) so get it if you are afraid of cold. Others like sweaters, shirts, sweatpants, jeans, a must!
The lowest temperature during our traveling period was -9°C or even lower. So better be prepared.

Seoul Winter Trip - Day2

Second day of our trip in Seoul!

Visited Ewha Univ & explored Hongdae (the area we stay), haha, what? Two places in one day? Yup, we could have visited more places but trust me, these two are enough to spend your day well.

Did some shopping and grabbed some of their street bites.
Tryna fit in.
I'll let the pictures talk.

Seoul Winter Trip - Day3

Third day of our trip in Seoul!
Visited ChunCheon, Nami Island, Petite France, The Garden of Morning Calm.
Woke up pretty early and got ready for day trip to ChunCheon, somewhere further away from Seoul.
*Sorry I did not provide full information on how to get there, as there are different sites showing different directions, so let’s just stick to the simple description. Directory links are at the bottom of this post.

Seoul Winter Trip - Day4

Fourth day of our trip in Seoul!
Visited Insadong, Bukchon Hanok Village, Samcheong-dong, Lotte Mart.
 Had our brunch in Insadong.
There are lots of traditional restaurant in Insadong (open in 11am), and we have picked the one which was already opened to have our brunch (we were there very early).
We ordered what was recommended by the owner of the restaurant, so I guess they were the tastiest of all.

Seoul Winter Trip - Day5

Fifth Day of our trip in Seoul!
Visited Gwangjang Market, Ihwa Mural Village, Namsan Seoul Tower, Myeongdong.
The moment when we found a full length mirror and the train was yet to come, so.....

Seoul Winter Trip - Day6

Sixth Day of our trip in Seoul!
aka known as our 'Everland Day'!!
There's another theme park named Lotte World, which is also known as the largest indoor theme park in South Korea, but we did not have enough time to visit both, so we gotta make some sacrifice,
Well, that was not my first overseas theme park (first was USS), but yet,
I gotta to admit, that was the craziest theme park I've been to!

Hapjeong, Bau House Dog Cafe, SamCheong-dong and Ewha (Revisit)
Our last day in Seoul was also Yee Hui's birthday!
I'm kind of jealous that she got to spend her birthday here.
Wish I could have a birthday trip too! Hehe.
Anyway, Happy Birthday again, sweetheart!
Hope you love the little DIY cake we've prepared for you!
