Day 3 BKK

Day 3 - Shopping Day

Visited most of the shopping centers in Bangkok,
met up with a good friend of mine, Jin Jin.
a big thank you to her for bringing me and my family around. :)
photo cred : the prof photographer from BKK :P

since we thought it was gonna be a long day, we woke up a little bit later. hehe.
had our breakfast at 10am, the hotel served indian food, which was compatible with those in here.

1) Pratunam Market
it's an outdoor shopping spot right outside our hotel, do not miss the morning market.
they sell mostly wholesale products, meaning you have to buy at least 3 of similar items.

2) Platinum Fashion Mall
It;s also the largest wholesale shopping mall in BKK, consist of 4-5 levels.
there are 3 main wings for this shopping complex.
bad thing is that there are no fitting rooms for tryout.
good thing is that it is air-conditioned. :)
3) Big C Supercenter
it's like our giant or tesco in here, with a department store and good for groceries shopping.
Dad had a nice foot massage while waiting for us to shop. Lol.
Not forgetting about the food too!
Tried this coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice in another shopping complex, forgot the name tho.
Lunch in Siam Square.
SomTamNua recommended by most bloggers for typical thai food.
Overall rating 8/10.

5) Siam Square
Family photo taken by JinJin. hehe.
Visited the Hello Kitty House in Siam Square.
a little too pinkish for me. good spot for girls to take a break from shopping.
Walked around and tried that Matcha Croissant recommended by my friend.
6) Siam Center + 7) Siam Paragon
both malls are next to each other just like our Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon.
one for standard brands and one for luxury brands.
both are nice to shop but i did not have that much of energy to go on anymore.
so did not really look at the stuff in the mall, but only for food. hehe.
and also 8) MBK center

took the BTS back to Pratunam, had a really good dinner in that area.
yum! pineapple fried rice was the bomb!
pretty much summed up my third day in BKK,
stay tuned for more.

ps: really sorry for my bad grammar and stuff, been staying up a lot lately.
