Had our next day planned to Oslob, close to Southern Cebu!
It was a 3 hours car-driving journey, well it will be longer if you are taking
a public bus from Cebu, it will take app 4 hours depending on the traffic. And
we woke up as early as 4.30am to get ourselves prepared for the half day trip
to Oslob.
Well, you might ask, what was the point of all those
efforts?
WHALE SHARK WATCHING!
I’ve never been so excited for a trip like this, seeing
something we don’t get to see so often, that was totally worth it! *I even
sacrificed dolphins watching for that, hehe*
We were the smart ones for not taking the public bus, the
routes to Oslob were kinda crooked, in a way that we couldn’t really rest well
in the journey despite the super early morning wake. Rented a private 4wd to
bring us there at least made things better. But still, it was a hell-of-a-long
ride!
So we arrived at Oslob at 8.30am, couldn’t remember which
tour / agent we had the deal with. It cost us 1100 pesos for snorkelling, with
all the gears prepared and 600 pesos for just watching on the boat. Well, here’s
what I suggest, look carefully while you’re choosing the gears such as
snorkelling mask & life jacket. Make sure it’s not loosen and can be
adjusted till it fits just nice to have a better snorkelling experience!
Get changed and briefed about the safety precautions and
then headed to approximately 50 metres or further to meet the cuties!
Seen one, named Lucky Seven, jumped into the ocean
immediately. It was 6-8 metres long, scary at first, but we made friends later
on. *Hah, just kidding!
Thanks to my best friend, Yan Yu, for bringing his GoPro H4
along so we could take really nice in-the-ocean selfies with the cuties
throughout the given 30 minutes of snorkelling.
Here’s one...
First thought before going for whale sharks snorkelling:
“Oh damn, those were sharks, they can sense even 1 molecule
of blood drop in a million drops of water, oh then, I have to make sure there is
no injury cut on my body.”
Now I find it hilarious
when I have learnt that whale sharks are completely harmless to humans, lol lol
lol. I even captioned my picture “Thanks for not eating me.” Hahahaha!
*Sorry for the lack of pictures*

This website is definitely all you need.
There’s really nothing much around that area for food, not
even a fast food restaurant, so we had a local meal for quick lunch and headed back to
MacTan right away. Left Oslob at 11.30am, and arrived back in MacTan at 3pm,
took a longer time due to the massive traffic in Cebu City.
A big thank you to our new & rich papa for being our own
personal driver all the way to Oslob back and forth. It was a pleasant meeting
him and knowing about his family.
We then spent the rest of the evening relaxing on the
private beach of Bluewater. Had quite some fun along the beachside and manmade
island.
It was a really relaxing evening by the beach....
The reunited Traffic Wardens!
Yay! The awesome 6! Hehe, had so much fun!
Headed to NewTown for our dinner, guess where?
MCDONALD’S! :D
Tried their deluxe pork rib, it was good and was only
available in certain period, didn’t figure out when. D;
I also did their McFloat, with chocolate topping!
Here comes the most important part of our entire trip,
and since it was our last night in Cebu, we’ve decided to try out something
fun!
Oh, us, on a jeepney! Finally!
Some uncensored scenes. Lol!
We headed to Liv Super Club for Wednesday night party!!
Well, it was really fun.
There’s no entrance fees on Wednesday night, providing you
are properly attired to enter a club. (covered shoes, shirts with sleeves, etc,
you know what clubbers wear la kay).
Got kinda drunk that night, hehe. Took a cab back to our
hotel.
We’ve spent less than 500 pesos per person for the night,
including two ways cab and 4 buckets of Red Horse (the alcohols were really
cheap there).
All the way from Malaysia! We are here to PARTY!
IT WAS AN AWESOME NIGHT! <3 font="">
