Cebu - Day 1

Hey readers, I am back to blogging!
It’s gonna be about my trip to Cebu, Philippines and this update will be separated into few posts.
It was actually my first international trip with my beloved UTB gang!! We have already made the planning a few months (more than half a year) back. Managed to purchase the tickets with affordable price earlier as the price later on was really costly.

So it was a 6D5N trip, spent our time all in Cebu, and there were already hundreds of places to visit, according to TripAdvisor and a few other blog articles, which really did help us a lot for this trip. (Places we went: Cebu City, Bohol, Oslob & MacTan).

So we took a morning flight on Saturday (11/4), 1 hour from PEN – KUL, waited for 2 hours and another flight from KUL-CEB. It took approximately 5 hours in total excluding the waiting time. Touched down in MacTan International Airport at 2.30pm.

Took a cab, and checked in our first accommodation, Le Village GuestHouse, Cebu City. Spent two awesome nights staying in this lovely guesthouse. Their service was superb, staffs were really friendly! Highly recommended for backpackers. There was even a bar outside for us to chill! Hehes. It cost about 500 pesos (air-con room) per person for one night.

Here's a picture of our room, everything in orange.
Definitely for me.

Took a short rest and headed out for lunch, like super late lunch, or early dinner. Had our first meal in a grill restaurant. Not sure if was it that we were too hungry, or the food was really good. Haha, sorry, but definitely worth a try! Its located on the same street as to Ayala Center.
 Spotted little Frozen Jeepney.
A we-fie before our food is served.
Those were my travelling companions for my Cebu trip.

Since it's a grill restaurant, their grill chicken is highly recommended, did not try out their beef (most of us are Buddhist).

Headed to Ayala Center (one of the biggest shopping mall in Cebu), it was really fun there! They had almost everything we have in here, lots of fast food restaurant most importantly (my favourite).
Did a little shopping (on some dried mangoes, drinks, sun blocks, etc), walked back to the guesthouse. Came across to a 7-11.
just chillin'
 Hello Mister Donut.

We had a good time chilling at the bar located outside our guesthouse!! That was how we ended our first night in Cebu!
Four Season is my favorite drink in Philippines by far.

*A little tips for currency exchange, visit Palawan Pawnshop for a good rate, they have branches almost everywhere.
Can I have one of these on my birthday?
