Seoul Winter Trip - Day6

Sixth Day of our trip in Seoul!
aka known as our 'Everland Day'!!
There's another theme park named Lotte World, which is also known as the largest indoor theme park in South Korea, but we did not have enough time to visit both, so we gotta make some sacrifice,
Well, that was not my first overseas theme park (first was USS), but yet,
I gotta to admit, that was the craziest theme park I've been to!
So....
What's Everland
[Info from visitkorea.or.kr] Everland Resort opened in 1976 as the first family amusement park in Korea. Though originally called ‘Yongin Jayeon Nongwon,’ the company changed its name to ‘Everland’ to make the park more recognizable to international audiences. The park is home to over 40 heart-pounding rides and attractions. In addition to "Safari World" featuring white tigers, tigers, lions and bears, "Lost Valley" opened in April 2013, letting visitors get up close and personal with the wild safari’s giraffes, elephants and white lions riding on unique amphibious vehicles.

*Everland
‘Dreams Become Reality, the Land of Year-Round Festivals!’
Everland is divided into five sections: American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure, Zoo Topia, and Global Fair.

How did we get there?
We took a shuttle bus from Seoul (Hongik Univ. Exit No.4)
It’s a 38k won package (Admission Fees + Round Trip Transport).
Check out the link at the bottom of this post for the departure and returning time.

The queue for most of the rides was kinda long.
The queue in theme park is ALWAYS long.
So we were very selective of the rides we were about to go,
just to make sure we have no regrets.

I was really excited to try all the thrilling rides, well I am a HUGE fan of roller coasters, I get real excited and jumpy whenever I visit a theme park. So my friends were like being forced to go with me?  But I guess they enjoyed it in the end, you only live once, right?

So the first roller coaster we queued for was the “Racing Coaster” in Magic Land, well know what? Never ever EVER visit Magic Land, it was built for children. I was like omgosh, my friend, Yee Hui dragged us in for “Racing Coaster”, when we were in the queue, all we saw was kids, kids and kids. LOL. But it was no harm for going for an easy one first, everything begins with baby steps, right?

Then we headed for our next ride, “Rolling X-train” in American Adventure, spent 45 minutes waiting time but that was a real fun one! We had two crazy 360 degree spins. Hahaha, I was actually laughing on the ride, in other words, it means I was enjoying it.
We headed straight to the scariest, biggest, and the craziest ride in the theme park. FYI, it’s also the steepest ride in the world with a top speed of 104km per hour at a 77-degree angle!!
*drums roll…… T-EXPRESS!!!
Well, T-express is the CRAZIEST roller coaster I've ridden.
and I should really express this, but ONCE IS NEVER ENOUGH.
I should have queued for another round. *dang!

okay, we then took some break.
had our lunch. (only after all the thrilling rides to prevent something which you know what).
yum yum!

Spent the rest of the day visiting the rest of the theme park
and on some relaxing rides.
Yes, I have a confession.
I am a sucker for pandas and penguins.

And "Safari World"
The huge brown bear automatically stood up and lean against the bus for food.
And performed some trick too. How cute.
White tiger? They even have a white liger. Yea, saw it with my own eyes.
Fennec fox. One of my favorite exotic pets.
We ended our adventure in Everland with some pretty amazing photos.
I am gonna revisit this park one day!

Took our shuttle bus back to Hongdae, and had our dinner and supper.
Chilling with babe Stefanie.
Oh, its another must try!
Korean Fried Chicken and Beer (Chimaek).
By just thinking of it, and it still excites my taste buds right now somehow.
And gosh, I wish I could eat it now!!
