Hello readers, I am back to blog about my trip to Seoul, South Korea!
We visited this beautiful country in the end of February,
Here are our flight details, booked it around a year ago.
It was around RM 500-600 round trip per person (very very cheap I suppose?), and we traveled in four (which I believe its the best for traveling).

We had only 6 full days and another half day spent in Seoul after subtracting the traveling time, it took us nearly 6 hours to land in Icheon from KL and another 7 hours back from Icheon.
It was really exciting as my friends and I traveled together for the first time, and it was also our very first time experiencing winter season (which is also known as the coldest season of the year, ok I should cut the crap).
Since it was Winter, so we had to prepare some winter clothing for this trip. If you were to travel on Winter and you have no idea where to get your winter clothing, don’t worry, lots of sales will be going on during that period, (especially from Cosas United).
I have got my outerwear from Teranova, which has similar quality with those from Zara but slightly cheaper in price. Winter boots from Zalora, around RM 150, with really good quality. And long john was not necessarily for me (I kinda like cold) so get it if you are afraid of cold. Others like sweaters, shirts, sweatpants, jeans, a must!

The lowest temperature during our traveling period was -9°C or even lower. So better be prepared.
We touched down in the evening, took the subway to Hongyik Univ, the name of the station to our guesthouse. There’s this app named Korea Trip, it was very helpful during our trip, better than google map I would say.
When we first got out from the subway station, we were literally screaming, and almost frozen, the weather was really, like really cold (probably cause we were still adapting).
Checked in, and met up with my friend’s friend (a Korean guy) for dinner in Hongdae.
The food was really good, I believe he brought us to the right one. Tried Soju for the first time, it tasted like vodka, just that it was slightly boiled, which enhanced the taste of alcohol, did not really like it.
Walked around in Hongdae, a really happening place for teenagers, lots of street performances and lots to see and shop and eat and even chill.
After 30 minutes of walking, we went to Yong 9 Beer (a pub) located on a side alley in Hongdae to chill and chitchat.
They specialize in beer mixed with fruit juices, or something odd like that. They also have a few European and Korean beers. They serve mainly fried appetizers and we had something like hash browns (sorry, I forgot what it was called).
Headed back to our guesthouse – Twin Rabbit.
And since the night was still young, we decided to grab some supper from the nearest convenient store. And tada!
Tried various types of their instant noodles, the cheesy noodles was the best of all.
And here is a picture of our shelter for this trip. Had our room booked online, payment done upon arrival. The host was friendly, but bad thing is he couldn’t really speak English well so we kinda had a hard time communicating (especially we need some help).
